Every year when the summer comes, we dream about the perfect two-week asylum. Most of us are looking for a place with great opportunities to relax, lie in the sun and enjoy welcoming, warm sea.
Asia happens to be one the most interesting and undiscovered destinations, so here’s our list of the Asian beaches you MUST see in 2014.
1. Radhanagar Beach, Havelock, Andaman and Nicobar islands, India
An island situated some 2.5 hours from the mainland of India is a hidden gem among Asian beaches. Although it was named the best Asian beach by a number of famous magazines (Time, for example), it still remains a quiet piece of land of crystal clear water and incredible untouched nature.
2. Lamai Beach, Samui island, Thailand
Although, a little more crowded than Radhanagar, Lamai is still a place you’re looking for, with soft inviting sea and long stretches of sand.
3. Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka
Arugam Bay is becoming a popular vacation spot for beginner surfers. We couldn’t argue with that. Just look at these surfers enjoying themselves in the gorgeous setting sun!

4. Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, Malaysia
The whitest sand we’ve seen, the quietest beach we’ve been to, and one of the best pancakes around – this place is ideas both for solo, couple and family travelers.
5. Palolem Beach, Goa, India
Palolem is where you should go for a beach, which is still relatively quiet and unspoiled. It has its own unbeatable charm, while offering plenty of things to do, starting from eating in various local restaurants and ending with listening to late-evening local guitar (or even sitar!) music.
Have you been to any of these beaches? What beaches would you add to the list?
