I have just attended the International Tourism Fair in Madrid. During the 4 days that I spent in the Spanish capital, I stayed in the Hostal Granado.
Hostal Granado has been open since 2009. More than a simple hostel, it looks like a hotel, as it is quite modern and very well taken care of. It is situated very close to the Carabanchel metro station of the green line, so we can get to the city center in only 15 minutes. The surrounding neighborhood is calm and secure, and it is a very local area with lots of shops and everything necessary within reach.
The things that I liked in most in Hostal Granado:
The modern design transforms it into a place that looks much more like a hotel than a hostel.
My room, as all the others in the hostel, was very new and clean, and the bed was really comfortable.
Every room has its own bathroom, television and WiFi-connection. Clean sheets and towels are provided for free.
The hostel has a terrace, perfect for relaxing or having a drink.
The staff provides you with any kind of information about touristic spots and they also hand out maps of the city and the metro lines.
The staff is very kind and friendly. It is a place that I can simply recommend to anyone!
My stay in Hostal Granado was part of a press stay. Thank you very much!
